Nate and Maureen's (Mo) wedding at Nate's family farm in Quincy Michigan was absolutely beautiful! I met these two a few months before their wedding (since they live in Colorado!) and I knew that their wedding day was going to be full of love and family. With them living so far away, they had friends and family from all over the country come and celebrate with them, which was so special and beautiful to witness.
The ceremony overlooked the lake and their rustic and personal touches tied everything together. They read their own vows that left so many people in tears (including me!). The weather was exactly what we were hoping for, warm with no rain but not too hot. Nate and Mo's exit from the ceremony was so cute and fun, they had a flower petal toss that everyone loved!
After the ceremony we took family and wedding party photos and then it was time for the bride and groom portraits! We drove around the 100 acre farm taking pictures, I loved hearing all of of Nate's stories from growing up and the history of the property. After driving around the farm we went back to the tent to get the party started! Let me tell you, their guests love to have a good time, the dance floor was hopping all night.
Congrats again to Nate and Mo, I had so much fun getting to know you both and it was an honor to photograph your wedding. Your love and happiness is contagious and I absolutely loved being surrounded by it on your wedding day. Cheers to many more years together!
