This is my third year photographing the CF5K Color Run in Grand Haven, and every year I am more and more amazed by the high schoolers that put on this race. The race is hosted by the Grand Haven High School student senate; they do all the planning, hold fundraisers, contacting local businesses for sponsorship, and everything in between. This year the race location was more in the downtown area of Grand Haven by the hospital, compared to at the high school like it has been the previous years. I am so thankful that they ask me back every year to be the photographer for this event. Just this year alone, the run raised over $3,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. I'm so proud an honored to be apart of an amazing event like this in my hometown, seeing these high schoolers being passionate about helping others is amazing to see. Thanks again to everyone who was involved in putting this race together, special thanks to all the sponsors and GHPD for leading the race and keeping all the runners safe!
