Rings (and details in general) are one of my favorite things to photograph. One thing I’m trying to strive for in 2017 is making every ring shot unique by incorporating something meaningful to the couple. One of my absolute favorites from this year is from Carolyn and Mike’s wedding. I included an Instax picture of them and their dog I found in their house while photographing the girls getting ready. Just that small picture turned a normal ring photograph into something personal and meaningful to them. Here are my favorite ring shots from weddings and engagements in 2016!

BONUS: Here are a few of my favorite ring shots I took of my own ring this year! (Jesse never stops telling my clients how I spent a ton of time photographing my own ring, I think he tries to emphasize how much I love them!)
