Three weeks in already, I can't believe it. This week has been a roller coaster of waiting, good news, and a lot of stress. With both of our crazy work schedules, I don't think the stress is going to get any easier, but we'll make it. Cheers to week three!
Day 86: I'm not going to lie and say that every day is filled with fun wedding planning and exciting things. Honestly, it's really not and today is just one of those days. I went to work, got home, made dinner and watched some TV before bed.
Day 85: Waiting. I like to say I'm a very patient and understanding person, but some things REALLY stretch that. Like waiting for the menu for the reception. When you are told you'll get it emailed to you before the 1st of June (when before you were told beginning of May) it really puts a damper on if you even want to send out your invitations.
Day 84: When Everything Happens at Once. Today was the day that everything clicked, questions were answered and of course I had a ton of fun. I started out the morning with my mom, and we tried on my dress. Guess what it still doesn't fit. (what a way to start out national donut day..) We had some extra time between going to the greenhouse and my eye doctor appointment, so we decided to stop at the new local alterations place. The lady made me feel amazing about my dress, the issue with it is not so much it not fitting me, it's more or less the fit of the dress. Like most dresses they aren't made for people who are...well very short. So she has no problem helping me fix it and it's not going to cost me an arm and a leg!
Second best thing about today, I FINALLY received the menu for the reception, and I am so excited. We decided on a slider bar, which is almost as good as a taco bar (but still just as amazing) AND, we went to Rachel's house for a bonfire and talked out everything with the ceremony including an extra secret part we are adding in!
Day 83: MSU Wedding. I love meeting new photographers and working with them during a wedding. It's always interesting to see how they work differently than I do and just talk about life and struggles with being a wedding photographer.
Day 82: Bath Fan. This day couldn't have came any sooner! We bought this really nice bath fan a while back because the one we had in our bathroom was pretty scary (it had a heat lamp bulb in the middle of it) Well, the awesome expensive bath fan we bought broke, so we exchanged it for a new one and it works perfectly! It's been about a month without one and I have missed it, especially the bluetooth speaker!
Day 81: Stress. I hate stress, and I hate being stressed out. I am so thankful for my dad and Jesse for being there for me when I get VERY stressed. They always know how to calm me down and listen to me and what I have to say. There is just a lot going on in my life and trying to find balance is getting harder and harder. I'm not saying I can't wait till the wedding is over, I just wish I had more time in the day for everything, the days are counting down and I'm still trying to get to the finish line.
Day 80: All Invites are OUT! I finally went out and bought a roll of stamps to finish sending out invitations. Waiting on that menu really killed my want to send out invitations, I was just so worried they were trying to screw us over that I had no ambition on doing any of it. Well here we are, I am finally done sending out invitations. Scratch that off the list.
